Are you looking to share your DeepHow content with users who may not have an email address?
DeepHow has a solution, by allowing users to login with an Employee ID. Below is an overview of the process. If you are interested in enabling this feature, feel free to reach out to your CSM or AE to get things started.
Once activated, the add user pop-up will show the option to create an employee ID account.
Master Password
When Employee ID login is enabled for an organization, it’s possible to assign a single master password for all the employees. To do so, an Org Admin should go to Admin —> Settings and select the MASTER PASSWORD tab.
Then, select the Employee ID Access option and insert a password. Finally, click save to activate the feature.
Create an Employee account
Click the Add User button in the “All Users” screen or inside a Workspace. When the pop-up opens, select the Employee ID only tab.
Enter the employee Full Name and the alphanumerical Employee ID.
🙋🏽 For employees logging in DeepHow with their ids, only the viewer User Role is available. This is for security reasons.
Click Create and the user will be automatically created in DeepHow. The EMPLOYEE ID column displays the ID for the new user.
Log in with an Employee ID account
Employee accounts log in DeepHow using their ID and the client Key defined for the organization.
🙋🏽 For example, if the ID is 112233 and the client key is “dh”, the employee should log in as 112233@dh
After clicking Log in, the user will access the DeepHow Navigator.
If a master password has been configured for the organization, it will be asked before complete the successful login.
