This video will show the ability to record a voice over within the Editor of DeepHow.
- Once you log in, navigate to the Editor and navigate to your Workspace.
- Voiceovers can be done only on unpublished workflows so select an unpublished workflow here.
- Within the editor, you will need to navigate under the video and select Edit video
- You will be prompted that if you edit the video, the changes to the transcription will be lost. It is recommended that you perform any edits to the video first. Select Yes, edit here.
- Once in the video editor, at the top select Voice Over
- You also have down below an option to select which microphone you would prefer to choose. Ensure the correct microphone is selected. This bar turns green if the audio from the microphone is clear. It will appear yellow or red if it sounds far away.
- You will see you have a blue slider on the left-hand side and the right-hand side of the video. Select the two sliders and pick a small portion of where we would like to perform the voice over. Please note: You can voiceover the whole video if you'd like!
- You can come here and you can listen by selecting the play button to see what was said before recording over. When you have the selection that you would like, select record. You'll get a 5-second countdown.
- Once finished recording, you can listen to it. You also have the option to delete and try again.
- Once you're happy with it, you can go ahead and select save.
- The workflow will go through the transcoding process and it will take you back to the prior screen once you're completed.
