🎉 We are thrilled to announce our release of DeepHow Maven: AI-Powered Multimodal SOPs.  

🌟 Why DeepHow Maven?🌟

• Traditional SOPs and instruction manuals are time-consuming to create and fall short in capturing the depth of real-world execution details. This method lacks engagement, leading to poor learning outcomes and performance.
• DeepHow Maven's Multimodal SOPs feature transforms video demonstrations into comprehensive written SOPs, available alongside the video workflow. These multimodal SOPs enhance understanding and retention by catering to different learning styles, making complex procedures more accessible and understandable, without requiring the development of additional documentation by a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Multimodal SOPs maximize knowledge transfer by incorporating various modalities: video, diagrams, text, interactive Q&A, AI assessments, AI summaries, and more. By providing the same information in different formats, employees can reinforce their understanding of a procedure while staying engaged in the learning process

Improvements

• DeepHow Maven will be released in phases started July 9th. In this first phase: 
  • Our Editor is being renamed to Studio. This will be your creators go-to place to capture and edit content

• • • Admins will have a new setting named 'Maven Multimodal SOP' (renamed from AI Assistance) with three options to enable:

• • • We have released our Text SOP (Beta) tool within the workflow Builder stage. Making it easier than ever to create the content you need.  Use our Text SOP tool to create a text SOP to attach to your video. This unique approach caters to different learning styles and enhances the viewer's overall accessibility and engagement.

• • • You'll have the ability to copy the Text SOP to paste elsewhere 

• • Viewers will see the published Text SOP when watching a workflow.

• • We are releasing Q&A (Beta) at a workflow level.  
  • The Q&A (beta)  feature is an interactive chat tool integrated into each workflow. This tool allows viewers to ask questions and receive answers that are specifically relevant to the content of the workflow they are currently viewing. Instead of searching through a broad database, the Q&A tool focuses solely on the workflow, providing precise and contextually relevant responses.

• Our login has been revamped.

• • We are revamping the user interface across DeepHow to improve your experience:
    • On the Navigator and Studio, workspaces are refined with the designated color border
    • We maintained an all-black background so that you can see what is most important
    • We removed the text 'my workspace groups' on the side menu

• • • Within the workflow Builder, we moved tools like preview, translation, and share to the ellipsis '...'
    • The button styles have changed 
    • The colored dot for Unpublish and Published workflow has changed to a bordered red and green style 

• We have updated the UI on our Mobile Capture app. 
• Action Item: To access DeepHow Maven, admins will need to work with their IT team to whitelist the new endpoints as if 7/9/24:

• We are very excited to release Ask Maven (Beta). Ask Maven is your go-to intelligent assistant for workflow-related queries, providing instant, context-aware responses to accelerate knowledge transfer with AI. You can refine your search by workspaces and pick from the recommended questions provided.

Improvements: 

• We are replacing all mentions of 'Stephanie' with 'Maven' 
• We are changing the terminology when you activate a Text SOP and Quiz to -> Inactive/Active 
• We are adding a workspace name hover tooltip to highlight workspaces with longer names 
• We are moving the Share icon back on the Workflow Builder and removing it from the ellipsis '...' drop-down for easier access and visibility  
• We changed the pop-up message wording 'Go to Editor' to 'Go to Studio'
• We added batch upload on the Windows Capture App

Bug Fixes: 

• Fixed an issue on the Navigator app where the input could not be switched to Chinese to search videos, search workspace, and category search.
• Last month, we fixed a bug on the Navigator app related to extremely high watch times. In this release, we are calibrating the data to normal to keep the longest watch time and delete other view times and view counts

• We will be adding Quiz analytics for quizzes taken outside of a skill
• We are adding recommended questions to Q&A in order to give examples of questions that can be asked based on the content of the workflow

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where importing a video on a Google Pixel device would crash when naming the workflow
• Fixed an issue within segmentation where videos over 45 minutes had functions unclickable until the video would load in the thumbnail
